the world trade organization (WTO) has obliged Ukraine to implement the decision in a dispute about the adjustments made in favor of Russia.
As the press service of the Ministry of economic development, Kiev was given a deadline until September 15. In July 2014 Ukraine more than tripled import duties on ammonium nitrate from Russia (from 11.91 to 36.03 percent).
In Kiev, this decision was explained by the fact that the price of gas for Ukrainian nitrogen plants chemistry and Russian producers is significantly different. In response, Russia in may 2015, filed a lawsuit in the WTO.
the Claim was the fact that Kiev is to calculate the value of Russian products, instead of energy prices on the Russian market used prices on the markets of third countries, reports the edition “Arguments and facts”.
Earlier, Russia won the dispute with Ukraine to the WTO in the case of transit of goods. The panel confirmed the right of Russia to protect its security in “emergency in international relations”.
Russia has restricted the transit of Ukrainian goods to the onset of a free trade zone between Ukraine and the EU.
