According to Lauren Powell jobs, she is not interested in how to create a dynasty of billionaires like the Rockefellers, and the kids know it. This accumulation of wealth, she said, “dangerous to society”. Her late husband, claims jobs, adhered to the same opinion.
“Wrong, when some people accumulate great wealth equivalent to the United States of millions of other people, – said the widow. It’s no fair.”
Lauren Powell jobs has three children. After her husband’s death in 2011, (co-founder of Apple died from cancer at the age of 56 years) she inherited his fortune, estimated today at about $ 24 billion. The money she prefers to spend on charitable projects in education, environment, and immigration assistance.
At the same time, the widow of Steve jobs has not acceded yet to the so-called “giving pledge” – philanthropic campaign launched in 2011 by billionaires Warren Buffett and bill gates.
