From may 22 we had a new direction – we were working as volunteers in the hospital Fairgrounds. The main goal is to provide moral support to the patients, primarily the elderly and disabled. Perform everyday tasks – change diapers, to turn the bed, adjust the bed to bring food, to feed, to deliver the patient to the desired office. Medical students are allowed to simple medical procedures: measure the temperature or pressure, to help to set up a drip. Those who do not have medical training, perform other tasks, they are more than enough.
Indeed, among the volunteers working at the Fairgrounds, a lot of people unrelated to medicine. This is normal. There is, for example, railroad, taxi driver. I myself education Navigator of the Navy and pastry chef. This does not prevent me from working in a Red Cross trainer of first aid.
