As stated in the article, Washington said an increasingly belligerent threats and demands from Beijing. Certain circles in the US is now counting on Union with Russia to counter China.
According to the author of the material, Russia and China have increased cooperation in the context of Western sanctions. Former employee of the Pentagon Elbridge Colby believes that Washington should reduce the number of irritants in relations with Moscow, in order to allow cooling of its relations with Beijing.
At the same time the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said earlier that the US will fail to provoke a clash between Russia and China in the public sphere.
