the U.S. Department of Commerce called the condition for the cooperation of American companies with Huawei. About it reports Reuters.

the Authorities intend to lift the ban and begin a dialogue with the Chinese firm to establish a global standard of the new generation network. However, the Minister of Commerce Wilbur Ross noted that his Agency for national security and foreign policy interests will contribute to the transformation of the American standards in the world.

He stressed that the U.S. will lose leadership in the development of this global innovation. According to him, the country’s participation in the development of the international standards will affect the future of unmanned vehicles, artificial intelligence and “other cutting-edge technologies.”

Previously, Huawei has been under a new attack by the US authorities after they banned foreign companies that use technology and equipment, to cooperate with it. The ban was struck at first by the Taiwanese manufacturer of mobile processors, TSMC, providing more than 98 per cent of the requirements of Huawei.

Huawei first came under restrictions from the US in may last year after Washington accused it of transferring personal user data to Chinese intelligence agencies and included in the black list. Consequently, the company was granted certain exemptions and deferred.
