the Congressman from the Republican party of the United States Steve Womack said in his microblog on Twitter that the draft defense budget for next year will be spelled out additional sanctions against the Russian gas pipeline “Nord stream — 2”.
the politician boasted that he was proud of his involvement in the pressure on the Russian gas industry.
“I’m proud to be a sponsor of the sanctions designed to stop the construction of the pipeline “Nord stream – 2″. Applaud the U.S. Senate for the inclusion of these measures in the draft budget of national defence,” wrote.
Putin wants to use the Nord Stream Pipeline 2 as a tool of coercion. He wants to undermine our allies in Ukraine and Poland & increase reliance on Russian gas. I’m proud to cosponsor sanctions to stop its construction & applaud the Senate for including this priority in the NDAA.
