The United States banned almost all Charter flights to Cuba, citing the fact that the income from travel and tourism get the power and intelligence of the country, said Secretary of state Mike Pompeo.

"Today I have asked the Ministry of transport (USA) to stop private Charter flights in all Cuban airports including Havana. This action will terminate all Charter flights between the U.S. and Cuba, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of transport, public in addition to Charter flights to Havana and from Havana and other approved private Charter flights for emergency medical needs, search and rescue and other trips in the interests of the United States", – said in a written statement Pompeo.

"the Current administration (USA) will continue to seek to reduce the profits that the Cuban government receives from landing fees, travelers to belong to a mode of the hotels and other revenues from travel", – said Pompeo.
