In the Tretyakov gallery has estimated losses due to pandemic coronavirus. The Museum has lost nearly three million euros for three months, said the head of the gallery Zelfira Tregulova. Her words leads to “Interfax”.

“We have identified right from the start their loss is about 30 thousand euros per day. So we have a month to lose the amount of 900 thousand euros,” she said.

Tregulova added that the total loss of the Museum for three months, equal to 2.7 million euros.

According to her, the loss amounted to about 90 percent of the profits of the Museum at closing time. Now the gallery only works online shop. The lost money was planned to direct the development of new projects.

In this case, said the head of the galleries during the period of the regime of self-isolation increased the audience of the Museum through online platforms.
