New research shows that office workers need every 43 days to have a rest. Otherwise, experts warn, not to avoid mental health problems.

a Study of 2,000 office workers showed that it is necessary to take a vacation at least once in six weeks, to prevent extreme fatigue, reports the Independent.

In the study, 7 out of 10 adults report that they experience fatigue and feel overwhelmed if they are too long to have a break.

three out of ten adults sleepless nights are an indication that the work begins to absorb them, while 23 per cent go on vacation, if you find that crying for no particular reason.

the Study also found that seven out of ten adults do not feel the need to take a holiday abroad or in the UK to recover – they are as excited just to spend a few days at home.

Of those who would like to make a break in work right now, almost half said that they would have loved the opportunity to just relax in the garden.

And 43% want nothing more than to put your feet up in front of the TV, while 41% want a bit of peace and quiet to read a book.

Long walks (43 percent), exercise (32%) and engaging in personal business (23%) also occupy an important place in the agenda when they get the opportunity to relax from work.

But one-fifth of workers enjoys the idea that they will not have time for a vacation.

On the question of the relation to work, 26 percent answered that they do it well, but every tenth adult experiences stress, and eight percent feel the exhaustion.

More than one in 20 (seven per cent) of workers are in a state when they can’t concentrate, and fifteen percent are fed up.

Executive Director of Spana, which provides free veterinary treatment to working animals in developing countries around the world, Geoffrey Dennis, said: “Everyone deserves a break, and the presence of regular small pit-stops may affect productivity and mental health. It is very important to have a time-out until the moment when you can’t eat, sleep or function normally. Fortunately, most British employers understand this fact, and the workers have a choice, when they can relax. However, unfortunately, that’s another story for working animals abroad that perform grueling work every day and never get the pleasure of holidays or retirement”.

Geoffrey Dennis said: “the Interruptions are absolutely necessary for our mental well-being. Unfortunately, this respite is not suitable for working animals and their owners in developing countries. These working horses, donkeys, camels, elephants and other animals work tirelessly throughout the year, carrying back-breaking loads in harsh conditions and extreme temperatures. A break in the work – an impossible dream”.
