According to the amendments of the Cabinet, the requirement to leave the transport for an unpaid fare may not be distributed to children up to 16 years of age who travel unaccompanied by adult citizens. This position is proposed to prescribe in the Charter of motor and urban ground electrical transport.
At the same rules would apply in the case of ticketless travel adults with children – in case of failure in the fare they have to go to the next stop.
– Introduced a very important rule: the conductors will not be able to disembark from the route children who have not reached 16 years of age and who travel on public transport without a ticket, – said a member of the state Duma Committee on transport and construction, member of the EP Alexander Vassiliev.
