Boris Paikin was elected to the Duma from the Bryansk single-mandate constituency in September 2017 instead of early resign Vladimir Zudenkova.
Commenting on his appointment, he noted that to tackle the strategic tasks “on the legislative support of the tourism industry, the formation of new youth policy, development of children’s and youth sports, as well as working with external challenges in professional sports.”

the Bill proposes to define at the Federal level, the term “youth”, “young family”, “youth policy” and to codify a uniform age group of “youth” (persons aged 14 to 35 years), as the regions have different interpretations of these concepts. “This bill is just necessary for carrying out a uniform youth policy in the regions and the state support of youth in the various Federal and regional programs,” – said the MP.
the Deputy also said that in the nearest future it is planned to fully evaluate the relevance of the basic provisions of the Federal law “On physical culture and sport in the RF”.
Important, according to Boris Pikine, was the issue of ensuring the availability of sports education in Russia for the population, especially for children and young people. In addition, according to him, the urgent issue is to restore the tourism industry after the pandemic.
