Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed the decision, allowing to get a job at e-work-book – a digital analogue of paper. The law on introduction in Russia of electronic employment record books, entered into force on 1 January. Employees offered the choice to move to a new format, written statement to the employer or to remain at the paper work. Holders of electronic work books can access them on the websites of public Services or the FIU. Tell how to use the new labour.
Until July 1, all employers had to inform about the possibility to move to a new format work books. However, because of the pandemic, many workers never made a choice. Authorities extended the period of writing statements until October 31. By this time the Russians have to choose which book to use. By default, the employer will leave the paper, but the employee may change the decision at any time. However, those who will be first to get a job after January 1, 2021, will be automatically assigned only electronic work.
E-work-book – the digital equivalent of paper. The employee can check the data entered in the personal Cabinet on the website of public Services or the Pension Fund of Russia. However, to make changes to the electronic employment can only FIU. Fund information of the place of employment, position, date of admission and the reason for the dismissal is reported by the employer.
Now access e-books on the portal of public Services and the FIU have with those who managed to apply for a transfer and those who first got a job already in 2020. According to the Pension Fund, by the end of June e-labor chose 1.5 million people.
As explained by the government, paper work book to those who refused them, will be issued at hand. But it is better to save, because of electronic work will be stored only starting from 2020. Earlier data will not.
In Ministry of communications added that information from the electronic employment record if necessary, you can save from your personal account as a scan of the paper statement. Such certificate will be certified by the electronic signature of the Pension Fund and will have no legal force.

If the employee did not write the application for transition to the electronic work book, it will never change.
