Almost a third of Russians would like to retire to 55 years old and women about this desire of saying more often than men. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the service "Work.ru" and NPF of the savings Bank at the disposal of TASS.

"Joint survey showed that almost a third of respondents (31%) want to get out of retirement to 55 years, and 69% would have ended his career after 55 years. Each fifth participant of the survey is set to end active work at the age of 60-65 years (22% of men and 17% women). 27% of Russians (regardless of gender) would like to retire at the age of 55-60 years", – stated in the conclusions of the survey.

Women more often than men say they wish to retire to 55 years is 39% and 23% respectively. Only 17% of women would like to retire after age 65 for men was only 28%.

A fifth of respondents (20%) are confident that we will be able to afford to retire before the official retirement age. So, 13% of respondents say that they have additional sources of income besides the salary. Another 4% of respondents have enough savings on which to live without working, and 3% are sure that in case of early completion of career they will be relatives.

"however, for most Russians early retirement is problematic because of the lack of savings and additional income" – the authors of the survey.

To plan their own retirement are about 26% of Russians, although they didn’t do, said the results. Another 25% of respondents one way or another preparing for retirement: 9% believe that the earlier we stop working them will help proper upbringing of children; 8% rely on yourself and save for old age (swell Bank deposits, or make other savings); 6% of respondents said that they had bought or intend to buy a property that will be leased; 2% of the issued individual pension plan.

"Many Russians set aside funds and are looking for part-time work that will allow you to increase monthly income including after retirement. Especially now that there are more opportunities to earn money remotely. We also see that many candidates took advantage of the pandemic to learn new skills or to monetize a hobby", – commented on the results of the survey, the commercial Director of service "Work.ru" Mr korytskyy.

The study involved more than 3 thousand users from all regions of the country.
