the Russian humanitarian mission (RGM) to overcome the effects of a pandemic coronavirus infections directed medicines to the Republic of Srpska – RS (part of Bosnia and Herzegovina), the list of which was formed in close cooperation with the Ministry of health of RS. Mikhail Bondar said that the Russian humanitarian mission on a permanent basis working in the Balkans, implementing a number of projects in the Republika Srpska. “Last year it was reconstructed several social projects in Banja Luka, installed solar farms at the clinic of the city of Bileća, equipped with new equipment the faculty of philosophy of the University of East Sarajevo (pale), organized a mobile eye clinic, thanks to which local people were given the opportunity to correct defects of vision, – he reminded. – RGM suggests to continue working actively in the region.”

In this regard, the representative of RGM shared plans of the mission in 2020. According to him, the Balkans planned projects in the field of medicine, education and point of care. “I hope that on the territory of the Republic of Srpska, our work will become routine and permanent, he said. In turn, the Serbian member of the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik on April 24 sent a letter of appreciation to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, the Ministers of defense and foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu and Sergei Lavrov, the head of the troops of radiation, chemical and biological protection of the armed forces, General-Lieutenant Igor Kirillov, stressing in particular the importance of the assistance provided to the Republika Srpska by the Russian Federation in order to combat coronavirus infection.
