He recalled that exactly 227 years ago, the Empress Catherine the Great issued a Manifesto on the annexation of the Crimea, Taman and Kuban to Russia. According to the head of the Council of Ministers, the Manifesto to all peoples of the Peninsula were guaranteed “to keep them Brawne with our natural subjects, to protect and defend.”

the Prime Minister of the Republic said that at the same time for more intensive development of agriculture, industry and trade in the Peninsula abolished internal customs and the construction and development of new cities.

At the same time Hotsanic called symbolic coincidence this year of the anniversary of the annexation of Crimea to Russia with the celebration of Christ’s Resurrection.

Recall that in August 2016, the Central Park of Simferopol opened the restored monument to Empress Catherine II. The monument is a replica of the statue that destroyed almost 100 years ago during the Soviet regime.
