From February to June in Italy, some 1.5 million Italians had coronavirus. This is six times more than previously thought.

It is noted that physicians have checked how many Italians there are in the blood of antibodies, allowing to fight against the coronavirus. Their presence is a marker that the person had the virus and developed immunity.
After studying analyses by 65 thousand people, scientists made up a proportion to obtain data on the situation of COVID-19 in the country. The information obtained allowed to conclude that at least 2.5% of Italians have antibodies to the coronavirus.
