this Unique exhibition project was the result of the General work of the Museum of Victory and “Search movement of Russia”.

We gave the searchers drawings with images of war veterans that are stored in Museum funds. The way the combat part of the red army had managed to restore over the other portraits, the work continues. The exhibition will be updated. And copies of the portraits will give the relatives of the soldiers, – said the Deputy Director of the Museum of the victory of Eldar Alibekov. The multimedia exposition will be placed on the websites of the museums – participants of the project “the Victory”. Virtual visitors will see the 29 drawings by frontline artists. Among the portraits – sketches, often done in between fights, which is a true testimony of the war years. Many of these soldiers did not return from the battlefields, but thanks to activists from the search teams became possible to know the fate of these characters.
