Passengers of the Moscow metro and the Moscow Central ring (MCK) will begin to distribute drinking water, if the stations within two hours will be observed above 28 degrees. This was reported on Tuesday in the official Telegram channel of the Moscow Department of transport.

Earlier in the Central suburban passenger company (CPC) said that drinking water free of charge will be distributed to commuter rail passengers departing on Tuesday from Moscow’s train stations.

"If the temperature in the subway stations exceed 28 degrees for two hours, we begin to distribute water to passengers, the metro and the ICC. We continuously monitor the temperature at all stations. If the temperature at the stations exceeds the norm, let’s start to give the passengers the water. Please carefully about your health and take care of yourself, especially in such hot weather", – stated in the message.

According to the forecast of hydrometeorological centre of Russia, in the Moscow region on Tuesday is expected 33-degree heat. In this regard, declared "orange" level of risk. It means that there is likelihood of natural disasters and damage. The warning is valid from 11:00 to 16:00 on Tuesday.
