“From this point of view there is a need to develop a strong Arctic region, Arctic centre, which would unite the oil and gas potential of the district and the region’s industrial potential and at the same time implemented a new transport and transit potential”, — said Reshetnikov.
According to the head of Ministry of economic development and cooperation of regions will give the possibility to realize the project of a deep-sea port of Indiga, which has long been discussed, in addition to the existing capacity of the port of Arkhangelsk. “The economic development Ministry, for its part, fully supports the overall programme socio-economic development of the regions.
