Lawyer Elman Pashayev, representing the interests of Mikhail Yefremov, denied the information about the upcoming sale of the house Russian artist in Jurmala. His client currently doesn’t sell as is under house arrest, said the lawyer network edition StarHit.

Speaking about the payment of compensation to the relatives of Sergey Zakharov, who was killed in an accident with Ephraim, June 8, Pashayev said that the actor “will not be anybody’s running” and will pay the amount appointed by the court.

“Mikhail Olegovich do not need to sell anything in order to fulfill the court’s decision, — the lawyer explained. — Most likely, there will be the sum about one million roubles, at best — a half million. Such funds we will gather with one call by friends of my client.” Pashayev noted that Yefremov was willing to give native Zakharova a large sum, but “did not intend for this to sell anything”.

On the market of real estate of Ephraim in Latvia previously reported the newspaper “Komsomolskaya Pravda”. It was noted that the artist will sell one of two owned cottages near the beach. Part of the proceeds he allegedly intended to convey to the relatives of the deceased in the accident, and the rest to spend on his wife and children if he will go to jail.

Efremov sells the house to pay for the accident

On the evening of 8 June Efremov staged accident in Central Moscow. His car went into the oncoming lane and crashed into a van whose driver, Sergey Zakharov, died in the hospital due to blood loss. The artist himself was not injured, he was sent under house arrest until August 9.
