The Kremlin responded to the question of the postponement of a Victory parade

No decisions about the transfer of the Victory parade in Moscow and other festive occasions were not accepted. Thus the question of the date of the event, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, reports TASS.

According to him, the Victory parade will be held on may 9 or another day.

In early April, the information appeared that the coronavirus can adjust the plans to hold the Victory parade on red square in Moscow on may 9. In the Kremlin and the Russian Ministry of defense allegedly started to consider alternative scenarios of the event. It was reported that the authorities allegedly even considered the option to postpone the parade in the autumn and to coincide with the event to the end of the Second world war — all over the world, this date was celebrated on 2 September.

In defense of such plans denied. According to the representative of the Ministry of defense Igor Konashenkov, preparation for the event is another main training took place on 1 April.
