The Kremlin has not discussed the idea of postponing the celebration of Russia Day from June 12 to July 1, this new offer. This was stated press Secretary of Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.
“It (the proposal. — RT) is also new. Any discussion on this subject in the Kremlin is not” — said the representative of the Kremlin.
Previously a member of the Public chamber, President of the National parent Committee Irina Volynets told RT that he has sent to President Vladimir Putin’s proposal to postpone the celebration of Russia Day from June 12 to July 1.
In her opinion, the Day of Russia should announce on July 1 to the end date of voting on amendments to the Constitution.
