The Kremlin commented on the possible date of the vote on the Constitution

the Kremlin does not deny that the vote on the amendments to the Constitution can be tied to a date, but it is not a prerequisite.

According to the press-Secretary of President Putin Dmitry Peskov, the new terms will be defined as the development of the situation.

“Some estimations exist, but to speak of them as something is decided, it is impossible”, – said the press Secretary of the head of state.

Earlier media reported that as a possible date for voting on amendments to the Constitution the authorities are considering 24 June and 8 July. The first date is the 75th anniversary of the Victory day Parade in Moscow, on July 8, Russia celebrates the Day of family, love and fidelity.
