The cargo spacecraft HTV-9 was launched to the International space station.

According to the Japanese aerospace exploration Agency (JAXA), the spacecraft put into orbit by the carrier rocket H-IIB. Start conducted from the Baikonur cosmodrome on the island of Tanegashima.
