an Israeli government Commission of coronavirus instructed the relevant ministries to prepare a plan for the resumption of flights since August 16. This was announced by the office of the Prime Minister of the Jewish state.

In late March, Israel ceased commercial flights amid a sharp growth of cases of coronavirus. The timing of the resumption of flights was postponed several times. According to Ministry of health of the country, in recent days the number of infected people in Israel rose by more than two thousand and has reached 77 thousand 919 people.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the key objectives in the fight against coronavirus in the country – reducing the number of sick and to interrupt chains of infection. Compliance with social distancing and the wearing of protective masks are still obligatory requirements in the country.
