Over the past weekend in three reservoirs of the Crimean capital – Ayan, Simferopol and the Guerrilla – have received more than 300 thousand cubic meters of water. This is the result of heavy rains that were observed in Simferopol, the surrounding area and the mountains. This was announced by the head of the RK Sergey Aksenov.

– a record of daily inflows for the last six months, – said Aksenov. And if the precipitation will fall with the same frequency, we will leave with dignity out of the situation. The authorities of the Republic of Crimea are not sitting idly by. As mentioned earlier, is preparing a backup plan of water supply in the water supply of Simferopol as the most problematic from this point of view of the city.

From underground wells Vilinskaya intake, from a depth of 72 to 74 meters, the water utility Simferopol already served more than 20 thousand cubic meters of water, and 26 June, will be filed an additional 25 thousand cubic meters.

– to Completely satisfy the need of Simferopol will be possible after approval of the arrangements for transferring water from Taganskogo reservoir of 60 thousand cubic meters of water a day, – said Aksenov.

Recall that in the past weekend in Simferopol, fell more than half the monthly norm of precipitation, including Saturday in the capital of Crimea recorded up to 23 millimetres of rain, and on Sunday – before 12. Heavy rain took place in the area of Angarsk pass.

Earlier in the Crimea was observed very dry autumn, winter and spring. The shortage of precipitation ranged from 50 to 70 percent. As a result, in reservoirs the natural flow by June 1, 2020 was only 85,16 million cubic meters of water, by 9.62 less than a month ago, and 110 million cubic meters less than in may 2019.
