The process of air travel from Moscow on the Russian regions is difficult because they introduced a two-week quarantine of visitors from the capital, said the head of “Aeroflot” Vitaly Saveliev. He asked the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to influence the situation, according to “Vedomosti”.

The request was made head of state at a meeting in support of the aviation industry and air transport, in which participated the national leader and members of the Cabinet. Saveliev stressed that the airlines are experiencing serious difficulties due to the potential 14-day quarantine, which awaits passengers who visited the capital.

The head of “Aeroflot” expressed the opinion that the CPS should check the relevance of quarantine measures, and in case of loss of their efficacy to develop a programme for the phased removal of restrictions.

CEO of consulting company Infomost Boris Rybak said that the abolition of quarantine measures in the current situation, the main engine of demand.

“Now no one in their right mind will fly to Sochi, Crimea and Tatarstan, knowing that you have 14 days to sit in quarantine,” – said the expert.

Earlier, as reported “the Rambler”, the loukoster “Victory” announced the resumption of flights within Russia from 1 June. In early April, the airline was forced to curtail activities because of the threat of the spread of coronavirus infection.
