Representing the interests of the family of the deceased in an accident with Mikhail Efremov lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky suggested that the defense would try to seek probation for the actor. He said this RT.
“Rambler” wrote that on the evening of 8 June Efremov in a state of alcoholic intoxication drove into oncoming traffic in the center of Moscow and collided with a car Lada, whose driver was seriously injured and died in hospital. July 6 Ephraim was charged under part 4 of article 264 criminal code (Violation of traffic rules, entailed on imprudence death of the person).
Dobrovinsky noted that charges in this article “expected and quite logical”.
“I’m afraid the game began to receive a conditional sentence. But I hope the fact that Mr. Yefremov does not recognize his guilt, especially not affect the outcome of the case,” said the lawyer.
He also noted that it is not known when will be the details of the investigation.
Earlier, lawyer Elman Pashayev, representing the interests of Mikhail Yefremov, said that the actor maintains his innocence in the accident. While on the YouTube channel GrazhdaninPoet a few days after the accident was published an appeal of Ephraim, in which he asked for forgiveness from the family of Sergey Zakharov.
The actor then said that it would help them “all funds” and called it “not an attempt to bribe, and attempt to redeem”.
