the Russian defense Ministry on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Prague from the Nazis published a batch of archival documents and photographs. Prague was liberated by the red army on 9 may 1945. The operation for the liberation of Czechoslovakia was held from 6 to may 11.

Publication of archival documents particularly relevant due to the actions of some Prague officials ordered in April to dismantle the monument to Soviet Marshal Ivan Konev. They also announced the desire to put in the Prague monument traitors Vlasov.

the Soviet Union gave Czechoslovakia seeds for the sowing campaign: 500 tonnes of barley, 430 tonnes of oats, 1070 tons of maize, 30 tons of beans.
