the Famous American tennis player Billie Jean king, behind which 39 victories on Grand slam tournaments in doubles and singles, told about the refurbishment of the National tennis centre of the USA into a temporary hospital for 350 people.

“the Armstrong stadium National tennis center. The rest of the center will become a hospital, and this court – the center of preparation and distribution of food, where heroic people will pack up to 25,000 sets a day. Each set will be a two-day ration for patients, workers and children,” wrote Billie Jean king.

king won all the Grand Slam tournaments. At Wimbledon and the U.S. Open she won in all three categories (singles, in pairs and in mixed doubles). The record holder for number of wins at Wimbledon (with Martina Navratilova). On account of its 20 titles in the sum of all nominations of Wimbledon.

the American is the oldest professional player who won a single WTA tournament. King won in Birmingham in 1983, aged 39 years, 7 months, 23 days.
