Scientists Jordan Poppink and Julie Tseng from Queen’s University have devised a way by which you can determine how many thoughts appears in person in the head every day. In their work they relied on a map of brain activity, reported in the journal Nature Communications.

When visualization of neural activity experts managed to separate one thought from another. It turned out that during meditation the human brain divides different themes into patterns-patterns which can determine the beginning and the end. Scientists were able to calculate that the average person thinks about 6200 different thoughts.

Now neuroscientists are about to perform, whether or not the number of thoughts a person’s age and track focus on them. Also, find out how to affect the thinking mental disorders.

In the beginning of the month it was reported that Japanese scientists are developing a device which can read the thoughts of animals. In June, British scientists said that negative thoughts increase risk of Alzheimer’s disease.
