Choreographer Victor Adonyev, who previously worked in the group Eteri Tutberidze in Instagram explained the departure of coach in the United States during a pandemic coronavirus.
Adoni wrote that when the borders are closed Tutberidze decided to fly to her daughter Diana Davis, who lives in the American Detroit. “Those who writes that she fled to the USA — do not wait, Russia for her! And now she has to sit there and wait for the lift all restrictions on movement,” said the choreographer.
Davis was born in the US but now plays for the national team of Russia. She has repeatedly referred to the States, his favourite country and talked about the advantages of living in the country. Last season Davis along with partner Gleb by Smolinym running under Igor Shpilband.
Eteri Tutberidze — coach of figure skating. Her student Alina Sagitova became the Olympic champion at the Games in 2018 in Pyeongchang. Other skater from the group coach has won the world and European Championships.
