the UK Government responded to Moscow’s proposal to hold a summit of the five permanent members of the UN security Council. This was reported by the Kremlin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov.
“There are certain signals that Britain would be too interested in holding such a meeting”, – quoted Peskov RIA Novosti.
In his opinion, the best venue for the summit would be the UN General Assembly in September this year.
“we believe that the prospects of such a meeting, we need all of us, all mankind, very positive and very great”, – said Peskov.
On the question, will not prevent the spread of coronavirus COVID-19 summit, Peskov said that this talk is premature.
