BAKU, 1 may – RIA Novosti. The Azerbaijani Parliament approved the candidacy of Kamran Aliyev, at the office of attorney General, the correspondent of RIA Novosti on Friday.

Earlier, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev was nominated for the position of attorney General of the chief of head Department on fight against corruption Kamran Aliyev.

At the meeting of Milli Majlis on Friday addressed the issue “Of consent to the appointment of the General Procurator of the Azerbaijan Republic”. The question was put to the vote and adopted.

In 1987, Kamran Aliyev graduated from law faculty of Irkutsk state University, and then received the appointment to the post of investigator in the Chita transport Prosecutor’s office. Then Kamran Aliyev worked as a senior investigator at the Transport office of public Prosecutor of Transbaikalia.

In 1990-1993 years the Kamran Aliyev studied at the graduate school of the research Institute of the Prosecutor General of the USSR (later the Russian Federation – ed.). In 1993 he defended his thesis and received the degree of candidate of legal Sciences, and then received a transfer to work in bodies of Prosecutor’s office of Azerbaijan. In 2007, Kamran Aliyev headed the main Directorate for combating corruption under the Prosecutor General, and in 2014 received the post of Prosecutor General.
