the awarding Ceremony of the winners of the MUF Community Awards 2020 will be held online. It can be viewed 5 July at 20:00 on the website of the Moscow urban forum. This award is presented annually for the most outstanding achievements in the field of urban projects and initiatives. 13 nominations on various spheres of urban life — from the design of public spaces to the cultural landscape.

Online broadcast will allow anyone to become the guests of the event and on a par with experts and prominent public figures first to find out the names of the winners.

the ceremony will be attended by chief architect of Moscow Sergei Kuznetsov, first Deputy chief of staff to the Mayor and Moscow Government Evgeny Kozlov, Gorky Park’s Director Paul Trekhleb, Director of the State gallery on Solyanka Ekaterina Bochavar, partner at Citymakers Bureau, urban planner and sociologist Peter Kudryavtsev, head of the Department of urban planning policy of Moscow Sergey Levkin, co-founder of the Beat Film Festival Kirill Sorokin, Director of the Moscow Urban Fest Arina Pellet and others.

voting for the winners took place from June 26 to July 3 on the website mos.ru.

In the shortlist for the award, the expert jury included 44 projects in categories such as “Charitable and social projects”, “Urban technologies”, “Cultural initiative”, the “City for kids”, “Sports and recreation projects”, “Educational initiatives”, “Urban gastronomy”, “City design”, “City of exhibition”, “entertainment and leisure”, “Urban media and blogs”, “Green city”. This year a special nomination “Together against COVID-19” will celebrate the initiative that changed the city in the period of the pandemic.

Among the nominees of the State Museum of fine arts named after A. S. Pushkin Museum of Moscow, Polytechnic Museum, concert hall “charge”, House of the cultures on Sretenka, and others.
