a Telegram officially added support for the Belarusian language on all platforms. Previously this was only possible in alternative versions of the messenger — Telegram X.
It is reported Belarusian portal 42.TUT.BY. To set the Belarusian language can be either at this link or through “Settings”, under “Language”. Earlier in the Telegram X language setting was only on a special link.
It should be noted that the Telegram has become an important platform during the protests in Belarus, which started after the presidential elections on 9 August. Telegram-channel Nexta Live was one of the most popular in the Russian segment of the messenger, gaining a record one million subscribers in just a few days. The founder of the channel opened a criminal case on organization of mass riots.
