Tajikistan officially informed Moscow about the decision of the government of the country to restore air links with Russia, informs RIA Novosti news Agency with reference to Department of information and press of the MFA of Tajikistan.

“We officially informed the Russian side about the decision of the government of Tajikistan to restore air links with Russia”, — reported in Department.

The foreign Ministry of Tajikistan said that it is currently expected response from the Russian colleagues.

“When deciding on the opening of air communication with Russia we believe that this process will occur in strict compliance with sanitary norms and anti — epidemic requirements,” the Ministry added.

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the resumption by Russia of international flights from August 1.

In turn, Vice-Premier of Russia Tatyana Golikova said that from August 1 will be opened to international flights to the UK, Turkey and Tanzania.

Also Mishustin signed the government decree on the removal of restrictions on entry into the country for citizens of Turkey and Tanzania, as well as to British subjects.
