In Belogorsk district, Amur region, the students recreated the monuments to “the Unknown soldier” and “Defenders of Stalingrad” from the local gems, the press service of the regional government.

In the center of additional education of the village Vozzhaevka opened a unique exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war.

the Exhibits were made of natural stones: chalcedony, agate, and quartz. Materials for their crafts, the children found themselves during the campaigns.

“the Idea to create gems of copies of actual monuments came by chance. The grandfather of one of the pupils presented to the institution sprocket worn by soldiers on their forage caps during the war. After this it was decided to perpetuate their memory and implement the ideas of making copies of monuments of stone and stars”, – stated in the message.

All the exhibits stored in the Museum room, where children study the history of their country and you can see the military awards and letters of soldiers from the front “triangles”, to relatives of residents of Vozjaevka.
