According to the Chairman of the state Duma Committee on civil society development issues, public and religious organisations Sergey Gavrilov, Turkish leader Recep Erdogan need to consider transfer of some religious objects located on the territory of the Republic.

In an interview with “Parlamentskaya Gazeta” Gavrilov said that to objects that should pass in Moscow, includes not only temples, but also monastery, pilgrimage centers and hotels, which were built in Russian and belonged to pre-revolutionary Russia.

the Deputy said that we can talk about a minimum of seven churches that formerly belonged to the Russian Orthodox Church, and the situation today is ripe for addressing these issues.

“This concerns not only Istanbul but also other Turkish cities, popular among our travellers and pilgrims, for example, Antalya, the city of Peace in Lycia, where he was buried, the greatest Holy Nicholas the Wonderworker.
