The mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin said that a mass event in the capital on the city Day will be limited because of the situation with coronavirus, reports RIA "news".
While there will be local events held in parks, squares and cultural institutions of the city.
"All this will be done so in Lite mode", – said Sobyanin.
He recalled that the overall theme of the festival will be "Museums of Moscow".
City day in Moscow is celebrated in the first weekend of September. In 2020 these days fall on 5 and 6 September.
