The electronic voting system is reliable enough, said the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin on Friday.

"We conducted systematic work on the reconciliation of all databases: electronic databases, Cikovsky database, PEC, Ticks and so on. And this work is done continuously, on a daily basis, then at the end, before 1 number of full alignment bases – this eliminates any provocation, attempted zadvoenie votes and so on. The system works this way to prevent any violation, especially if the breach was done intentionally. So the system I think will be reliable and comfortable and this time" – the mayor told the TV channel "Russia 24".

Voting on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation began across the country on June 25, it will last until 1 July. Online voting, which will be able to participate only residents of Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod region, will be held from 25 to 30 June.
