a Former employee of the national security Agency (NSA) USA Edward Snowden has applied for the extension of the Russian residence permit for three years. This was stated by his lawyer Anatoly Kucherena.
“recently we applied for extension of residence permit for another three years. I hope that the decision will be made positive,” he told TASS.
According to him, the validity of the residence permit, Snowden ends in April.
Kucherena also noted that while the issue of Snowden obtain Russian citizenship were discussed.
