The last and decisive game day in the English Premier League takes place on Sunday evening. However, during the night, the peace of the Liverpool players was disturbed by a police operation at the team hotel.

Pyrotechnics: Shortly before the last day of the Premier League, the police were called to the Liverpool FC team hotel early on Sunday morning. Around 1:45 a.m., according to a report by The Mirror, firecrackers were set off in front of the hotel on Regent Road.

No Arrests: An empty box of firecrackers was found nearby on the sidewalk. A police spokesman said officers spoke to a man at the scene and took him home. There were no arrests, but visible patrols were conducted after the incident.

Crucial game: The Reds need to beat Wolverhampton in the final game of the Premier League season while also hoping for leaders Manchester City to fail at Aston Villa. “The best thing about football is winning games, that makes everything a lot easier. There are still two important games to come, one of them on Sunday,” says coach Jürgen Klopp.

“I wouldn’t feel safe…” – Klopp can’t resist a dig at Guardiola – and that in the championship race
