A young tourist from Vienna fell from a waterfall on the Thai island of Ko Samui at the weekend. When trying to take a selfie as a reminder, the 23-year-old woman from Vienna slipped on the wet and mossy stones and fell 15 meters, reports “Bild”.
Her boyfriend immediately tried to revive her, but any help came too late for the young woman. The paramedics, who arrived a little later, could only confirm her death.
The Viennese is not the first tourist to have a fatal accident at the Na Muang waterfall: in 2019, a French tourist fell and died.
