Senators approved the introduction of the post of Chairman of the security Council

Members of the Federation Council today approved a law introducing the post of Deputy Chairman of the Russian security Council, reports “Interfax”. Earlier the document was approved by the state Duma.

16 January, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree has introduced a new position of Deputy Chairman of the Russian security Council, appointed to this post the former head of the government Dmitry Medvedev.

Earlier, Medvedev, commenting on the situation, expressed confidence that said that his new role will be important and necessary.
