Chinese scientists using computer simulations found out how the coronavirus may spread in the toilet, that they published in their study site Phys.org. After flushing the air fall particles of water and human waste that could contain live SARS-CoV-2.

After a series of experiments in computer simulation, the researchers concluded that about 60% of particles with SARS-CoV-2 are posted outside the toilet. When you press the shutter button, the water streams impinge on the walls of the bowl, resulting in a height of 1 m rises, the aerosol cloud is in the air for about a minute.

Thus, the chance of becoming infected with coronavirus becomes higher if people use public toilets. The team also noted that the practice of lowering of the lid of the rim during the flush reduces the risk of infection COVID-19.

Earlier Profile I wrote that the number of cases COVID-19 in Russia fell to 7843 people per day. According to the operational headquarters for the fight against the spread of the coronavirus among new patients and 31.8% did not have associated symptoms. First place in the number recovered per day in Russia is a Moscow – 2271 patient, according to the June 17.
