The head of the Ukrainian Executive Committee of reforms Mikheil Saakashvili said that the state of Ukraine ceased to exist, as its substitute officials pursuing their own, not the public interest.
"In Ukraine there is no state! In Ukraine there are officials who [are] with the name of a nonexistent state. Because the state is that it ensures justice to all and protects all. Where is Ukraine exists? In Ukraine there is a bunch of bureaucrats, each group of officials has its own head", – said Saakashvili on air of TV channel "Ukraine-24".
He compared such officials with Pets who implanted a computer chip.
"Man is born with a chip on the ear: I am a representative of the group of this group. The man walks legs, arms, two eyes, normally speaks, and the ear chip, saying that I represent this specific group. As if people are born with it. Where is the state? State simply no", – said Saakashvili.
Former President of Georgia noted that the economic situation in Ukraine is deteriorating and bureaucracy and his actions only brings negative trends.
"is not a good Situation, and not only because of the coronavirus, – Saakashvili said. – The economic crisis will expand, deepen, jobs are being lost. And while I’m dealing with a bureaucracy that thinks nothing bad happens. They say, it’s business as always, they will be all captured, they had everything ready and they’re in a hurry". Saakashvili admitted that he felt a personal dislike to such officials. "Sometimes I wish these bureaucrats, shake, beat," he added.
Saakashvili led Georgia from January 2004 to November 2013 and left the country a few days prior to the expiration of the presidential term. Immediately after that, against him at home was initiated four criminal cases, two of which have already been adjudicated. In 2015, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has invited Saakashvili to the country, was granted citizenship and was appointed Governor of the Odessa region. In July 2017, Poroshenko after arose between them of the conflict were deprived of their citizenship by Saakashvili. Zelensky in may 2019 returned Saakashvili Ukrainian citizenship, at the end of the same month he again came to Ukraine, on 7 may by the decree of the President of Ukraine he was appointed head of the National Council of reforms.
