The head of the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian national Council of reforms, the former Governor of the Odessa region and the ex-President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili believes that Ukraine is on the verge of the biggest economic disaster, many families in the country facing hunger.

Earlier, Saakashvili said that the country’s growing centrifugal sentiment in all regions of Ukraine could fall apart.

"We (stand – ed.) before large-scale economic disaster, which can only be. And now don’t need to pretend that we are in no danger. Threatening literally in some cases significant number of Ukrainian families just hungry," Saakashvili said on Tuesday in a broadcast of "visiting Dmitry Gordon" on the Youtube channel of journalist.

According to him, Ukraine ahead of very hard time, but to overcome them we need everyone to work hard. However, Saakashvili said that Ukraine can "fix things in 100 days". However, he did not say that it needs to do.

Ex-President Saakashvili left Georgia in 2013, where he opened a number of criminal cases, some of them he was sentenced in absentia to prison terms. In the spring of 2015 Saakashvili came to Ukrainian politics, when held the post of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko appointed him Governor of Odessa region, before granting citizenship. The government of Ukraine in February 2018 has sent Saakashvili to Poland, from which he in autumn 2017 illegally came to Ukraine broke through the cordons of border guards and law enforcement officers.
