According to the head of the Executive Committee of the National Council of reforms of Ukraine Mikhail Saakashvili, the President of the country Vladimir Zelensky plans to create a single body of financial investigations, which will replace all law enforcement agencies dealing with economic crimes. In addition, Zelensky ready to carry out fundamental reform of the judicial system to put an end to the “lawlessness”.
Saakashvili Himself said that he was confident that the main enemy of economic progress of Ukraine – the law enforcement system, including the SBU, the state office of public Prosecutor and Tax police.
“So it was a firm decision of the President to create one body, it should be a little on financial investigation. Everyone else to clean up. And to allow business to develop normally without this constant tax terror,” he said in Facebook.
Judicial reform can be made through a referendum, even if there is “resistance of a corrupt judiciary”, said Saakashvili.
