Former President of Georgia and former Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili appointed the head of Executive Committee of the reform, the corresponding decree was signed by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

The President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili has called the examination of candidates Kiev Saakashvili is unacceptable and causing a complete lack of understanding. The Georgian authorities have threatened to recall its Ambassador from Ukraine, if Saakashvili will be appointed to any office in this country.
In the Kremlin has noted that a possible appointment is a matter of the Ukrainians themselves, while overall participation in politics, Saakashvili has called a “very bad omen”.
